The CBSO is the only orchestra to have the final of a piano competition as part of their concert series. We are proud of our relationship with them and grateful for the ongoing support they give us. Without such support we would not be able to offer competitors the opportunity of playing a concerto with one of the world's leading orchestras.

Limoges Charitable Trust

It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce the Limoges Charitable Trust have made a substantial pledge to help with the funding the 2022 competition. We are most grateful to them as without their support it is unlikely the competition would be taking place. Their donation will fund the first prize and also a significant amount of the running costs.

Kawai Pianos

We are delighted to announce that the 2022 competition will be supported by Kawai pianos.  The flagship instrument of the Shigeru Kawai line, the SK-EX concert grand piano will be used throughout the competition.

Waldrons Solicitors

We are grateful to Waldrons Solicitors for their ongoing support for the competition. Their regular donation of £1,000.00 funds the four £250.00 semi final prizes.
