semi final rounds at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire will be posted here in due course.
Tickets for the final Concerto Concert featuring the three finalists at Symphony Hall, Birmingham will be obtained from the Symphony Hall Box Office.
November 12th 2022 Preliminary Round, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire
Open to the general public the preliminary round of competitors go head to head each performing a 20 minute selection of pieces from Bach through to Bartok and beyond. Always a varied and interesting day, here you will get to hear much of the piano core repertoire played by fine young pianists.

November 13th 2022 Semi Finals, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire
Following on from the previous day of performances, the jury will make a decision about which 8 pianists should go through to the semi final stage. Each semi finalist will play a 45 minute free choice recital in the hope that they make it through to the very special concerto final.
